  • So yeah, I'm at school right now. Registered for classes and didn't get all the classes that I wanted. A lot of my backups were filled too. I was only able to get 3 classes because of it (13 credits), but I am contacting some teachers to see if they could make some room for me. My plan is to take up to 17-18 credits each quarter.

Work is good. Get paid to do what I love. I just don't like answering the phones because I seem to always forget something =P

Canceled one of my credit cards because they had some pretty horrible service. Don't get "1st Financial Bank of USA". It really sucks. They charge you 9 dollars to make a payment. Sure you get 0% APR... but it's totally not work the trouble of maintaining the card. I'm switching to BECU Visa Card. For those of you who don't know, Credit Unions out rate WaMu, Bank of America, and any of those major bank companies. The reason is because Credit Unions, like BECU, are made for the people, by the people. They have their services based on all the problems people have with the major banks.

I wanted to find another job, but it's hard right now because of all the work that my current job is asking for. I get 40 hours this week and next week. After that, I have a limit of how many hours I can work (19 hours/week). It's good though. I get $8.73/hour with no taxes taken out. =)

I had an amazing summer. When I got to western, I started missing the LL already.

    I'll stop there.

  • I haven't updated in a long time. Umm... so yeah, I've been doing great. Some ups and downs, but mostly ups. This summer has been more eventful than I could even imagine.

    -Camping @ Deception Pass
    -A full day date
    -California
        *San Diego Zoo
        *San Diego County Fair
        *All-American Rejects Concert
        *New Laptop
    -4th of July Fun
    -Nhuchi's Birthday Party
    -Creation Festival
    -Lori's Birthday
    -Wedding
    -Beach House Retreat
... and you can't forget about all those Friday YG and Sundays.

There is too much to put down. These were just the major events.

Other than that, I've been enjoying the messages that I have been hearing. It makes me happy to listen to some of them and realize that I already follow what the messages is trying to get at. I can't really give any examples because there is so much going on in my head. But yeah, someone told me (really, this person told me what someone else told her) that I would be a good leader. I guess I never really thought about it in a different light. My thought was always... "I don't have a good choice of words; I'm not a good speaker; I don't do well in large crowds." But maybe I can be a leader in a different way. Like, the way I live my life. I'm not the kid of person to make a difference in a bunch of people at once. My goal is to make a difference in one persons life at a time.

ps. I'm looking for a nice digital camera... pocket size. Willing to spend up to $300 for it. Anyone have any suggestions?

  • My roommate still hasn't emailed me back. I guess if he doesn't contact me soon, I'll just bring everything (microwave, fridge, tv). If he brings these things too... that will suck. Those dorms aren't that big. One way to get a lot of room is to loft the beds, but I don't like having to climb into bed. I'm one of those people who go to bed when they don't have much energy left. Trying to climb a bed in that state, sucks.

Oh! wouldn't it be cool if you could loft your desk!?! That would be sweet! Imagine doing school work on a lofted desk.

NVM... I don't think that would be very cool. What about having a Harry Potter like tent in a dorm room? You could just have two tents for the two people and it would be HUGE! Now that would be cool. Lets see... I could fit my tv on my desk, fridge right next to my bed, and the microwave on top of the fridge. Or maybe I could stack them all in one spot. Fridge--Microwave--TV? I'm going to raise my bed a little with this cone looking thins so I can put stuff under my bed... like those box things that have wheels. They roll under your bed for storage. I have a lot of junk. I take after my mom who always likes to have everything she needs right at hand.

    Wedding soon, woah! Ex----cite----ted!

  • Creation

I don't think I have had that much fun in a long, long time. I had such an amazing experience; it's hard to describe how amazing it really was.

    -Pillow Fights:
There were pillow fights between Canada and US during two of the nights. At first I was thinking that it sounded fun... which it does when you say pillow fight. But then when you find out that the people put bibles in their pillows... LOL ouch. I heard there was a lot of bleeding and one of the nights they turned off the lights early because of it.

    -Honey Bucket Roulette:
A person in each port-a-potty with a person trying to run passed all the doors without getting hit. The people in the port-a-potty would open their doors at random times to try to hit the person running. Tommy was one of the people in the honey buckets... he got slammed TWICE by an oncoming runner. ouch...

    -Farts in the crowd
People farted in the mosh-pits... gross! I had my axe deodorant to help me cope with the smell... too bad Tim caused my deodorant to fly out of it's container, hahahahaha. I wonder who it hit.

    -Buying a  kid
I sponsored a kid from Ghana, Africa! It is $32 a month. I'm glad that I'm making a difference in a persons life. Plus he was on the big screen before the TobyMac Concert! Lori's kid was on their too!
    Lori's Kid: Thank You, Lori!
    My Kid: Thank You, Kyle!
    It was sooo sweeet.

    -VIP
Got some cold air during the hot weather. John took me twice. Once to talk-back with switchfoot and another time to learn about some Youth Group Leader stuff.

    -Hot Sun
I would take a nap during the day and wake up sweating. It was sooo hot.

    -Tons of inside jokes
    Hence my myspace name.

-A line not meant to be crossed
Jokes that went too far, hahaha.

    -Quidditch
When the people were having pillow fights, lori mentioned it being like the Quiditch Cup! hahahaha. Actually, I think she said that before the pillow fights started, but when they did start... it just proved to be more true. (or closer to it)

    -Dateable
This guy was talking about dating. It was really interesting and funny. "DUUUUUURRRRRR" *Playing video games* "DUUUUUURRRRR" hahahahahaha. Apparently I got a perfect score on the dateable quiz. muahaha.

    -The most amazing new friends
Do I need to say anymore? All the people that I have met through Church are absolutely amazing!

    -Messages:
So many messages during Creation. Some of the were amazingly good... others were kind of boring. Even though they had good points, I just couldn't get myself interested in some of them.

    -Hardcore Christian Lady:
Some lady said they were disappointed @ Switchfoot for saying they owe everything to their fans... or something like that. I'm guessing she expected them to say God or Jesus. I thought her comment was unnecessary.

    -Canada vs US
    aka, the pillow fights, lol.

    -Who wears short shorts?
Andrea was stopped by this lady for wearing too short of shorts... even though there were so many girls with shorter. What a joke.

I took a huge nap when I got back from Creation. I don't remember when I started it, but I just woke up because my family is loud. I feel like going back to sleep. -_-

  • Summer

This summer has been fantastic so far. I don't think I have had any better. My room is dirty for the first time in a long time because I haven't been home enough to clean it. My mom is calling me a slob right now, haha. I'll clean up after this xanga entry. Anyways, I thought the new Harry Potter movie wasn't as bad as people have been saying. I liked it even though the ending was a bit flaky. I'm excited for the new book coming out soon! I can't wait.

I've been hanging out with some pretty cool new people. That one game we played yesterday was great. I got hit very lightly in a certain place, but it hurt like no other. I seriously don't know how it hit me like that. I think it was payback for tackling Thu.

Creation soon. Yayers! lol, that word is funny.
